KMSS leader Akhil Gogoi sent to 14 days judicial custody

A local court in North Lakhimpur today sent Krishak Mukti Sangram Samiti leader Akhil Gogoi to fourteen days’ judicial custody.
 

Gogoi was already in judicial custody at Lakhimpur after being arrested on charges of in connection with a case registered against him in 2011.
 

A case (No. 199/11) was registered against Akhil Gogoi at Bogeenadi Police Station of Lakhimpur district for disrupting the construction work of Lower Subansiri Hydro-electric Power Project at Gerukamukh in 2011.
