#Assam: Forest minister Pramila Rani visits Pani Dihing Wildlife Sanctuary

Assam forest minister Pramila Rani Brahma today visited Pani Dihing Wildlife Sanctuary.

Pramila Rani Brahma, accompanied by forest officials, visited the site. She rebuked the forest officials for not taking their work seriously and asked them to be dutiful.

Two officials of the Forest Department have been placed under suspension for dereliction of duties.

Pani Dihing Wildlife Sanctuary is a 33.93-square-kilometre wildlife sanctuary located in Sivasagar district, Assam. This protected area was established as a Bird Sanctuary in August 1999 by the Government of Assam.
